31st Festival Highlights
This past year was one of our best Festivals for weather! The Festival opened with sun & blue skies on Friday afternoon. The balloon ascension & balloon glow were magical! The new Kid's Zone by Green Mountain Children's Center was a BIG HIT! The VT Army National Guard was there with a very popular climbing wall & inflated slide. Everyone enjoyed the great food, crafts and entertainment!
A quiet Saturday morning flight looked serene in the early morning valley! Another great day with record-breaking crowds. Parachuters, the New England Disc Dogs, the kid's train & more great entertainment kept everyone entertained. Unfortunately, the wind prevented the balloon flight on Saturday evening, a disappointment, but Mother Nature ruled.

Sunday was warm and windy. The Jumptown ski divers made spectacular landings again in challenging conditions, but the wind prevented tethered balloon rides until 7:30pm! We waited, and saw the balloons go up twice: about 7:30am in the mist after an early morning shower, and again at 7:15pm. What a thrill!
